ATRFT1: a term used to describe endosperm or cotyledons which have a mottled or striped appearance resulting from the intrusion of the testa (seed coat) into the tissue. FPW: (of endosperm in seeds) Irregularly grooved and ridged; having a 'chewed' appearance.
