Inflorescence

Inflorescence characters are those relating to how the flowers are arranged on the floral axis.

flowers (solitary or aggregated)

flowers aggregated (in cymes, racemes, spikes, heads etc)

whether a scape

position (terminal, axillary, leaf-opposed etc)

incorporating pseudanthia (pseudanthial or not)

whether spatheate

inflorescence with or without involucre
