Description: 
Perennial herbs or shrubs. Leaves alternate, lanceolate, entire. Capitula discoid, many-flowered, fairly small, arranged in corymbiform cymes. Involucre campanulate; bracts free, in many rows. Receptacle paleate; paleae spatulate. Florets purplish. Anthers shortly sagittate at base. Style branches filiform. Cypselas oblong-ovoid, glabrous. Pappus a tubular, membranous cupule.
Distribution: 
Species 2, only known from Angola.
