Description: 
A climbing shrub. Extremities slender, silky-pilose at first. Leaves opposite, firmly membranous, broadly elliptical or ovate-elliptical, broadly pointed or subacute, broadly rounded or even subcordate at the base, without apparent basal glands, glabrous or glabrescent above, appressed silky-pilose beneath, 3-5 in. long, 2-3 in. broad; petiole 1/2 in. (1/4- 3/4 in.). Flowers in terminal and axillary panicles, white. Pedicels in opposite pairs or corymbosely fascicled, 1/2 in. or less; bracteoles minute at or near the base.
