Description: 
Perennial herbs. Leaves linear. Capitula few-flowered and aggregated to secondary, campanulate or globose heads, which may be solitary or arranged in a corymbose-paniculate synflorescence. Florets purple. Cypselas obovoid, +/-10-ribbed, glandular between ribs. Pappus a short, undulate corona.
Distribution: 
Monotypic: Muschleria angolensis S.Moore, Angola.
